You’d think Sinclair owned Mid-Michigan NOW! would understand the rules surrounding requirements to properly identify sponsored content in newscasts, on its website, on social media. After all, this is the same company fined millions of dollars by the FCC for running essentially paid commercials as news stories in its newscasts.
Now comes nearly daily stories featuring local businesses, like this one on Flint’s The White Horse:

Might be nice to have a LOCAL News Director that gives a sh*t and doesn’t blatantly violate sponsor identification rules.
So much for having a GM with a news background. Baldy in the corner office is absolutely no better than the corporate shills that preceded him. No ethical standards…
Acceptable registrations in the queue through June 3 at 5:00p ET have now been activated. Enjoy! -M.W.
