Sure, in order to save a few extra bucks, let one of the key guys go who literally kept us broadcasting after the ransomware attack.

Matt, I worked with Herm at WEYI during the good ole Clio days. I respect Herm. But I don’t answer to him any more than he answers to me.

I’m going to use examples like this latest Director’s departure to illustrate how 25-66 management continues to create a culture of ineptitude that forces good people to leave. We should be doing everything we can to keep people like this Director at 25-66. Instead, we’re told by management that it’s his decision… and the station is unable to counter to improve the situation so that a high valued employee wants to stay.

Matt, I don’t know how you think I’m sh*tting on my former colleagues when I literally say he’s a valued colleague. I will continue to support my former coworkers. It’s literally the focus of the initial post. Go back, reread it, and sound out all the big words.
You clearly don't answer to anyone but your own agenda. Newsflash: this is an employee market and people are leaving jobs left and right. SBG may be as terrible as you suggest, but the challenges of staff retention are not exclusive to that company. Also, I'll be curious to see what this individual's next move, whether it's a bigger market or different career with normal hours.

Karen is going to have to be an anchor since everyone is leaving 25-66 at this rate Karen could be out of a job since Sinclair will hub the news from someplace else or it just becomes The National Desk for the newscast. WWMT is also losing a lot of talent and 6PM news anchor Erica is leaving the station on Thur as that will be her last day and going back home to The Steal City.

This is already happening as 46 is resorting to more Ad Council and generic Shea Chevrolet commercials.

Has anyone been reminded lately that this is Flint?

It's like arguing about people leaving garbage dump jobs enmass.

Ha!

Stink just wants to argue to prove his/her point about how bad WEYI, WSMH, CW 46 is. He’s right. I just don’t agree the way he makes the point over and over again. But it’s hard to argue about the dumpster fire that station has become in recent years.

Unfortunately so have the other stations.

Fanny/Lovin Life and whatever other accounts he’s using these days offer nothing other than harassing behavior aimed at trolling other posters.
