Put yourself in their shoes and if your employer did this to you. Your co pay for all your Health benefits doubles or triples. The measly 4% that they give you to for your 401(k) is gone. Do you truly think that potential new employees would go there or younger employees would stay there long before looking for another job?
If the pay and benefits you offer aren’t worth a , then you’re not going to attract competent job applicants. Unfortunately too many businesses don’t get that.
