WXON-LD Channel 9

"WXON-LD is an independent low-power television station in Flint, Michigan and licensed to Millington, Michigan." Did this station just sign on because it is getting a decent signal from Lapeer. I have never received it before.

I'd say, it must have.

Lets be clear, WXON-LD is NOT owned by Luken or Get After It Media.

WXON-LD is owned by P&P Cable Holdings. Some of the other Wikipedia information is not correct either.

WXON-LP was deleted as mentioned in the information, but that means it was gone forever.

P&P also owned another LPTV station in the Flint area (W09CK), which was never a translator of WXON-LP.

W09CK was built as a digital station on September 17, 2021 operating on RF channel 29, with a display channel of 9. This station picked up the WXON call sign as P&P has done in the past. They currently have 7 channels on the air. (4 of the leased channels are from Get After It Media)

The station has been broadcasting for 5 months and finally someone posted about it on the Buzzboard. I've wondered why it was never mentioned before now.

Signal isn't strong enough for an indoor antenna on south side of Saginaw.

Nobody posted about it before because nobody could receive it, see it, or scan it. It seems nobody is interested.

So viewers in Lapeer can recieve WXON, but because you can't seem to recieve it, you think no one can see it. Very interesting!
