Mid Michigan Now

Post by whitebalance » Fri Dec 24, 2021 7:25 am

During the Today Show. 25 runs commercials and promos instead of local news and weather cuts ins.
How sloppy and unprofessional. Instead of running all those promos about News and weather, how about doing News and weather.

It’s apparently a result of the ransomware attack on Sinclair. They have yet to fix this.

Sinklair was always right - the people running 25/66/46 are idiots

Their worst offense was hiring him.

What's more pathetic: harassing an old man who is paying to do a radio show or supporting a grifter like Trump?

Considering that it was almost two months since the ransomware attack happened, I would have thought that they would be all fixed by now. I would have thought they would have been all fixed by Thanksgiving.

I care, due to the fact that TV stations and their news departments used to be run by professionals. It seems that Sinclair's smaller market, lower-rated operations, especially in Flint and Mid-Michigan, are just like McDonald's -- run by staffers who work long hours for pocket money.

When they started the FOX66 morning newscast they used to air headlines and weather that was double simulcasted on 25 and 66 during those breaks. It didn’t flow well on 66, so it appears as though they decided to just air commercials on 25 and focus just on the 66 newscast.

Which is sad. My wife flips off the Today show on 25 to ABC12 to catch the weather forecast
at 7:25am. Didn’t have to do that before the attack

Seriously? You sound like the top managers at my office with their “toxic positivity” management style. Wearing rose colored glasses while managing gives an unrealistic view of what your employees think of you

You never miss a chance to take a shot at me. I don't know how six words can possibly lead you to that conclusion. My conclusion is that both sides were shit. It doesn't have to be one or the other.

Sinklair stated they’d been there way before Sinclair Broadcasting bought 25/66

It looks like WEYI was purchased by SBG in 2013, and WSMH was purchased in 1996. It's highly unlikely that even if the individual was at WEYI before the purchase that a contract extension would not have been signed since SBG took over.

Maybe not all of the people that were posting as Sinklair were under contract.
