Research into Sinclair’s Biased Journalism

Post by sinklair » Mon Oct 04, 2021 7:23 am

New research looks into the negative impact Sinclair’s conservative focus has on local journalism coverage when it acquired new markets, including the acquisition of WEYI during the decade it observed:

I believe it’s even worse today, in the years since 2018 when the research concluded. Sinclair is now promoting its slanted journalism through its “National Desk”. And once when it used to label commentaries, it’s eliminated those clearly designated segments now in favor of stories and programs like Full Measure that push a conservative agenda without any disclosure.
