25-66 owner Sinclair Broadcasting says it is moving away from selling ratings and moving to impression based audience metrics.

It makes sense since both Nielsen and Comscore have major holes in their methodology. With the increase of viewership on digital platforms like websites, mobile apps, social media, OTT, Alexa, email newsletters, YouTube channels and more, it is antiquated to set advertising rates on the declining legacy platform and ignore all the other ways we connect our content with viewers.

Now let’s see what excuses the new Shipped in from out of town Sinclair GM, the In Over Her Head News Director, the ASSistant GM/Promotions Director, and the Director of Declining Sales have why we’re still in last place in terms of ratings and revenue.
