Why did WJRT TV-12 drop "Mr. Food" on noon news?

What happened to the "Mr. Food" segments on the Channel 12 Noon News every Monday through Friday? We always enjoyed them! Please bring them back, Channel 12. You've been airing them many years.

If not, will another station in this market pick up this short, good-news show?

Not sure why, as abc12 is still an affiliate filling out affs. They air the spots, which is the only thing actually contracted. The segment is not required. Only ION networks require the whole programming and spots under contract.

WPBN/WTOM aired Mr. Food in the 90s and early 2000s in the morning news.
