Interesting end to ABC 12 news at 11 on Friday, July 17

I literally just heard this and rewound my DVR twice to make sure what I heard was correct. Matt Franklin did the sign off after getting a Weather synopsis from Kevin Goff. After wishing everyone good night, etc., he said at the very end of the newscast “I am pissed“

Interesting way to end a newscast. Wonder what’s going on?

You might have been the only person to hear it since nobody watches broadcast newscast anymore, but here are my theories for the remark:

1. Matt was upset because the gay bar closed.
2. Somebody on Grindr stood him up.
3. He missed out on Cher or Katy Perry tickets.
4. He realized his career is going nowhere fast.

When you are wearing a mic...always consider it to be hot. That's what one can take away from this.

ABC12 has to be quite careful these days.

It paid out Leslie Toldo after she said black guys were treated better than her. Now, blacks don’t take too kindly to being treated worse than whites.
