Greta Van Fleet wins Grammy
l
Well, both do have Christmas Stores nearby, but in Auburn Hills, near the Palace, not Rochester. Partial, 30% credit. Since the US population is about 25% German Heritage, I don't know if Rochester stands out in that regard. Fankenmuth is just short of 50% German Heritage. The Kiszkas represent the 8.5% Polish Heritage in Frankenmuth. As you get further into the Thumb, this increases.

And don’t forget Rochester doesn’t have Greta Van Enemas either.

Please don't make me drink that poly antifreeze again. That lemon flavor only goes so far.

There's a clue in the question also.
OK. OK. Another clue. I'd still rather have gone to the Palace rather than to Olympia, even if the two venues are anachronistic.

Polyethylene Glycol is not antifreeze. It's not made from ethylene glycol.
Music is my life.
Re: Greta Van Fleet wins Grammy
OK Dr. Snape. Show me the synthesis. Show me the molecules with the little colored atomic models. It's still very similar, just a polymer.stopnswop2 wrote: ↑Tue Feb 12, 2019 3:45 pmPolyethylene Glycol is not antifreeze. It's not made from ethylene glycol.

Re: Greta Van Fleet wins Grammy
Sorry, but wrong.
It is polymer of Ethylene Oxide.
Ethylene Glycol is made from that though through reaction to water.
Also, Antifreeze is made of several things, not just Ethylene Glycol

Show me ethylene glycol, and a 5 molecule chain of polyethylene glycol. Show all atoms for clarity. Show me where the building blocks are different.stopnswop2 wrote: ↑Tue Feb 12, 2019 5:35 pmSorry, but wrong.

It is true that the large polymer is much safer because the large molecule isn't absorbed by the intestines.
Natural fiber and Cologuard are safer still.

Re: Greta Van Fleet wins Grammy
This topic went from the Grammys to Bronner's to Laxatives and Antifreeze.
Lmao.
And how would you prefer I showed you?
My imaginary equipment?
Dude, you gotta chill out.
I was just saying it wasn't "antifreeze". No need to go into a Chemistry lesson.

You didn't show your work. Points off. No A in Organic Chemistry for you!
I'm just mildly perturbed by your pedantics.

I honestly don't study chemistry and I am not too proud to admit I have no idea what I'm talking about here.
So don't expect me to show my work, because I did none. Lol

See. And that was Dr. Snape's dim view of Harry Potter on first impressions. I am actually more of an expert of Chemistry than Harry Potter of whom I'm not a fan. But Snape had to be based on an Organic Chemistry Professor. They think they are more important as gate keepers than the professionals they keep out. I say professionals because it's easy to pay big money and study overseas. They don't keep many out completely.stopnswop2 wrote: ↑Tue Feb 12, 2019 5:56 pmI honestly don't study chemistry and I am not too proud to admit I have no idea what I'm talking about here.

Now you have me trying to write Parody Lyrics to "PEG" by Steely Dan. Have to make it clever and classy, rather than crudely scatalogical.
