Need any evidence that TV station groups are irrevocably broken... look at recent closing stock prices over the past year. The bottom continues to fall out. Sinclair owned 25-66 was at a high of $63 a share last summer. Now... the same stock is barely worth $23 a share. Just shows that bad management isn’t just limited to the GM’s office.
BTW, Gray and Meredith aren’t doing much better.
Acceptable registrations in the queue through June 3 at 5:00p ET have now been activated. Enjoy! -M.W.

Broadcast stocks
Re: Broadcast stocks
Ratings are down across the board on all stations in Nielsen and Comscore compared to a decade ago. There’s no indication that this audience is ever coming back. And there’s no local plan on how to grow additional revenue on digital platforms to make up for the loss of broadcast ad revenue. Station GMs and Sales Directors we’re caught with their pants down... arrogance at its worst that management thought advertisers wouldn’t ever leave TV.
