Former WOOD-TV reporter and anchor Leon Hendrix is out as Communications Chief for the Grand Rapids Public Schools and folks showed up to the district's board meeting last night to voice concerns about that action and more poignant issues regarding administrative atmosphere.

Spitballing here, but Donovan Long is leaving WOOD, so social media indicates and Leon is a GR native. We shall see what transpires.
