change in leadership at local Moody Radio affilliate

Post by Feature/writer » Mon Jul 15, 2024 9:27 am

Hats off and congratulations to Jack Haveman, who has retired as station manager of WGNB-FM (89.3), the West Michigan affiliate of the Moody Radio Network. Haveman spent 16 years at the station, and among his accomplishments was pairing the successful current morning radio duo of Perry & Shawna.
Haveman had come to the station after a long run at crosstown WCSG-FM (91.3). Back in the 1980s he served a stint at WMAX-AM (1480) during its inspirational format days.
His retirement completes a 40-year career in Christian media.
Meanwhile, Dodd Morris is succeeding Haveman. Morris also comes from extensive experience at WCSG-FM, where he served in various roles with the Cornerstone U.-licensed station, including operations director. evening on-air host and founder director of His Kids (Keys for Kids) radio.

I have never met Mr. Haveman, but I wish him the best in his retirement. I do know Dodd Morris and he is a good guy. Good luck to Dodd in his new position.
