Did Fox 17 break into programming?

Fox 2 here in Detroit has been running nothing but baseball since 7PM, not even providing so much as a crawl.

Townsquare, to its credit, has some info regarding the Trump rally shooting on its stations' websites.

Not sure when but by 10pm, Fox17 had gone to a split screen using the three box format the big box was Scripps News Channel. Upper right was just breaking news slide that they use during newscasts. Lower right was the baseball game. Audio feed was Scripps.

Interesting. It looks as if FOX offered zero coverage to its affiliates then.

Good move on WXMI's part.

It looks like Fox did offer coverage, but it was up to the affiliate regarding whether or not to break away from the MLB coverage.

Because Reese got fired years ago and never did anything with his life afterwards, other than wanting to 'bash his previous employer B-93 any opportunity he could. He had many opportunities to move on, but didn't and probably never will.

Nothing wrong with retiring. But that's not what happened there. It was a box and keycard confiscation, not a cake in the break room.

Also nothing wrong with getting fired, it happens to the best in this business.

Reese rode Neal's talent and basement weather reports to a nice nest egg. The epitome of boomer timing when the industry really didn't ask a lot of it's talents.
