It's Giving Broke Boy, WKFR Cuts Local Mornings?
Chelsea Rose has left the building in Kalamazoo at the #1 station with the #1 morning show. Can the sales team not monetize this situation?
Unsure if they're planning on a replacement, but their Michigan track record of late is cutting salary at the sake of local talents while the sales teams stumble.

Did the two not get along previously? Interesting that his return was announced about 24 hours after her departure was announced.
DTE Energy paid $752 million in dividends to its shareholders last fiscal year. Remember that the next time they ask the MPSC to approve rate hikes.

This feels like the Glen Dillon situation all over again. Discarding the female talent and pinning hope on the milk toast male.MWmetalhead wrote: ↑Thu Aug 17, 2023 7:45 pmInteresting that his return was announced about 24 hours after her departure was announced.
I don't suppose this is really an investment unless we see a fully staffed morning show at some point. Otherwise it's just more deck chairs on the Titanic for Town square Michigan.

Quote, Dana Marshall
"I cannot wait to be back on the air and be back in Kalamazoo"
(said no one ever)
Kalamazoo to South Bend, then right back to Kalamazoo. Lateral moves at best.

He supposedly left the first time because the job was too stressful.
Perhaps seeing 103.3 crush 96.5 in the ratings has alleviated some of that stress?
I'd rather live in K'zoo than South Bend all day long.

Still wondering why Chelsea would be let go? She was the one who got those ratings. Keep her.
Was it an untenable relationship with Marshall or was it that they no longer want a two salaried AM show? Perhaps Chelsea refused to deal with the boys club management?

I wouldn't live in either one.MWmetalhead wrote: ↑Fri Aug 18, 2023 1:26 pmHe supposedly left the first time because the job was too stressful.

The snow in Battle Creek was deep enough back in the day.

Welp, they brought in a boring placeholder. So, I'm guessing Chelsea was too expensive and didn't want to work with Dana again.handbanana wrote: ↑Wed Aug 23, 2023 9:17 pmStill wondering why Chelsea would be let go? She was the one who got those ratings. Keep her.
Very strange to dump a #1 show for whatever is about to happen with Dana and Jennifer.

Wow. Just stumbled onto this ignorance. Everything you said here was incorrect and based on what exactly? Hilarious.handbanana wrote:Welp, they brought in a boring placeholder. Then explain, you left, ratings increased, yet Chelsea was let go. Why?
