WLAV's audio processing

Post by MWmetalhead » Sat Jul 16, 2022 8:06 am

I don't like WLAV's processing. Too much emphasis on cymbals and high end treble; bass sounds muffled.

The station should change back to the settings it had a couple years ago, which were perfect.

I noticed the station in response to its putrid ratings earlier this year has cut way back on 90's titles and is devoting more spins to 70's titles. Seems to be moving the numbers favorably, at least in 6+. June's survey produced substantially better AQH share than the prior three or four releases.

Paul Woods reminds me a bit of the Swedish Chef from the Muppets when he speaks!

That's cause the average listener age is 68, I can guarantee this station has the oldest avg listener age next to WOOD 106.9
