The WGVS 850 facility is in good shape. I hear it nearly every Night in Northern Michigan. Listening to Bob Mason right now. "Mirage" by Tommy James and "Hold Me Tight" by Johnny Nash just played. Can even hear it on an Eton Elite Mini.

Bob is doing his trusted show elements today, planned and hopeful station guests are ahead, leading up to sign-off time.

Official scoring on the final WGVU Real Oldies news break this morning, Voicers/Wraps 4, Written Copy, 1. Cut and copy elements are scored appropriately, Voicers/Wraps win these "games" on the same order that the Harlem Globetrotters best the Washington Generals.

Started listening regularly to learn what a great broadcaster Bill Bailey was, will certainly miss the signal. Guess WJRW will get my 1480 preset, where I hold doubt the same kind of magnetism will prevail.

They were streaming the WLS Year End Montage of the hits of 1968. It cut out suddenly before 2:00 and tried to sign into the live stream and got a 404 message.

I saw that "montage" phrase on the Real Oldies website.

The montage was chronological from the late 50's to the early 70's, created by WGVU for when they signed on, I believe.
