There's so much potential here though. If they put a little effort into it, and it does well, then the 2000s oldies format can make a national comeback for iheart, just like their gold based soft AC Breeze stations.

I enjoy everyone's positive "Hopeful" outlook on the station, but let's be honest with each other. It AINT gonna happen. Reese nailed it - Iheart isn't going to "hire" anyone to do anything. They won't be brining in any talent (Out of town VT does not count) They'll just throw whatever crumbs are left at it. There is going to be near ZERO investment in the station. You simply cannot succeed with a winning product without investment. Business 101. Radio is no different.
No one has brought up the sales angle on this this - are they trying to combo sell this station with WOODAM? Older Men Demo? Oxygen tanks and nursing homes?
