Someone's got to say it, CONRAD'S BACK!

Six ticks up the dial from where you last found him, with "Jethro 94.9" in Grand Rapids, and a Lowell stick at 99.5.

Good luck, David! Saw your story on WOOD TV this morning. I fully expect your faithful will follow you, good work getting set up with a midday shift and west-side commute!

I am not a big fan of country music, but I enjoy what they are doing over at Jethro-FM. They are probably my 3rd favorite radio station in the market. : ). Glad to hear Conrad is back on the air, even if it means going from 320,000 watts on B-93 to a 500 watt daytime AM and a couple of 250 watt translators. Probably be a lot more fun on Jethro, than it was on the station owned by I-Fart radio.

That's positive radio news. Wonder if he's voice tracked or live. Either way we'II take it!

This means nothing, Thunder 107.3 is the clear choice in West Michigan and will dethrone B93 in the next 90 days.

It helps also that Jethro mixes in some soft pop oldies... Which are still more country than 98-99% of the pop-country FM stations. It wasn't uncommon for some country stations back in the '70s to mix in some compatible pop music that didn't disrupt the station's sound. Gallery and Bread mix with George and Reba much better than Sham Hunt and Dumb and Dumber (aka Florida Georgia Line).

And as for that last post... Sorry, Lori... no one's drinking your Kool-Aid.

Yeah, it's not like WTNR has much ground to cover. You only trail B93 by about 7 and a half shares! :lol

Someone at Cumulus sure loves pukey sounding voiceover artists. The people 105.3 & 107.3 use sound so damn abrasive. It's like someone is taking sandpaper to my ears.

I'm sure the horrible signal in Ottawa County and generic national morning show #4 will prove to be an invincible combination!

I really thought it said CONELRAD.

I thought I would be instructed to tune to 640 or 1240.

^^^^^^ Well, trouble seems to be all around us, these days.

Conrad is probably just pleased none of his new duties will involve any sign-on shifts in St. Johns.

Conrad is and was the best of us. I am sure Dave Taft and Tim Feagan "felt bad" (but not enough to resign in protest)
when they fired him and led him to the elevator.
Conrad was the best of us at B-93 for a 30 year run, nothing short of legend. I hope they gave him the year in compensatory pay they gave me.
He will do as well as you can at Jethro. He is in my prayers.
And, to the friend you said Thunder will beat B in six months, imho, what do you have to wager.

Dave, I hope you rock!

If I Heart GR really wanted to save money, it would sublet two of it's three floors at 77 Monroe Center.
