In Kalamazoo last year, 106.5 went all-Christmas around or shortly before Thanksgiving and actually saw its ratings plunge to record low levels (for the WVFM era of the station). Will be interesting to see if they give holiday music another shot this year or not.
I hope they do. I love the all-Christmas format and their rotation was much better than Star's last year. Plus, Star's commercial breaks seem to be twice the length of the Kalamazoo stations.

The bounds of annual Christmas creep seem to be limitless. Just 10 years ago, Thanksgiving seemed like a barrier. Nope. Now it's Halloween. How long before it creeps towards Labor Day?
Just wait. That 24/7/365 Christmas format is on its way...
Hopefully it's a station in the 101.7-102.3 range. They could call it Yule 102. :razz
