Brandon Isaiah Lloyd, 33, is named in a criminal complaint that was unsealed Friday, April 21. He is accused of felon in possession of a firearm.
The handgun was identified as a .40-caliber Smith and Wesson M&P 40 Shield. The Law Enforcement Information Network revealed that the gun had been stolen.
There ya go.
New York and Chicago were all in with respect to their sanctuary status — until they were hit with the challenge of actually providing sanctuary. In other words, typical liberal hypocrisy.

So you are saying that if we get these guns into mandatory gun safes, gun violence will go down? We could make the penalty a sizable prison term, or accessory to what ever crime was committed with the weapon.

No. That's not what I said at all. Wonder if Hillsdale College has a free reading comprehension course online?

Why would I select Hillsdale? There are far superior options and that place is kind of rapey.

We have always had an abundance of guns in America.
It has always been relatively easy to buy guns. Easier in the past than today.
So called mass shootings are a relatively new phenomenon.
Whatever is behind the mass shootings we seem to be experiencing, easy access to guns doesn't explain the why.
I no longer directly engage trolls

Exist and show up to the gun and knife show. The end.
They/them, non-binary and proud.
Remember that “2000 Mules” was concocted by a circus of elephants.
The right needs to stop worry about what’s between people’s legs. Instead, they should focus on what’s between their ears.
Audacity sucks.

The gun sales skyrocketed in the 1970’s… crime was way up and people were scared… gun makers and their political pawns took advantage and scare people into perpetuity now. Gun sales continue at record rates even with crime WAY WAY WAY down from where it was.

Does Obama still hold the "Gun Salesman of the Year" record for 4 years running??

Crime was at a low then… must have been his race or something.

Oh yeah, the day after the 2012 election. I remember hearing about all these idiots going to buy bullets and guns, because " Obama was going to ban them"
. So brainwashed and stupid. I see a gun as a tool and nothing more. Some guys have a fetish for them like it's a sex toy or rubber clothing
.

I'd love to see some actual stats on it, but I'd bet $20 that minorities bought the most guns during that period.

Why do you feel that way? Crime was very low, and Obama didn't represent an existential threat to people of color like he did to white men. If you recall this was when stock piling guns and ammo became a thing. This was also when the NRA's Wayne LaPierre was at the height of his rally phase.

Only in your fantasies was Obama an "existential threat to white men". He was a threat to the county, as evidenced by the numerous Executive Orders that were unconstitutional (and overturned).
He was sending messages to the populace as a whole that they would not be able to protect themselves in the future if he got his way (regarding gun control). THAT would (and should) scare any American, which includes all minorities. They've already been disproportionally affected and at a severe disadvantage due to leftist policies in large cities.

You mean all ONE of them that was overturned?? The ONE regarding immigration? "Numerous" is a bit hyperbole, wouldn't you say?
