Does the "Reproductive Freedom" amendment give rights to men?

When state law conflicts with the Constitution, either state or federal, which overrides which? Is it ALWAYS the Constitution that trumps the conflicting state law, or have there been exceptions?

That should answer the question regarding "parental rights" in the Proposal 3 discussion.

Assuming the Constitution overrides state law, here's another thought...

Does this amendment, if approved, also enable underage boys to have sex with their teachers, including having babies? If they are both "willing participants" then they are BOTH exercising their "rights to reproductive freedom" and cannot be prosecuted without infringing on those newly-granted Constitutional Rights! Isn't that the way this works?

Yet another "unintended consequence" of a poorly-worded proposal?

"Does the 'reproductive freedom' amendment give rights to men?"

Sure! As long as the woman identifies as a man.
You identify as every gender
She’s everyone in DBR. :rollin

They/them, non-binary and proud.

Remember that “2000 Mules” was concocted by a circus of elephants.
The right needs to stop worry about what’s between people’s legs. Instead, they should focus on what’s between their ears.
Audacity sucks.

I’ve been seeing a lot of the “vote yes on proposal three“ video ads that start with “so we were looking to grow our family…“ Do they not understand this does the opposite of growing one’s family?
That Ad would be pure deception. Can't pass it on the merits, so just make something up!

Gretchen Whitmer is an evil person, in her second statement in the last debate she said to pass proposal 3, just because you might need IVF and might have to terminate. What BS! As some who has been through the IVF process, you can always freeze the extra embryos, and NEVER transfer more than 3, unless you want to be Octo-Mom! Her doctor had his medical license revoked, but under proposal 3 the state couldn't do anything to the doctor.

Even through her doctor dangerously transferred 11 according to a confession from Ms Suleman, 8 of them survived fairly well with no selective reduction.

So, in other words, I have the constitutional right to get someone pregnant, and tell her that she can not have an abortion.

What about rapists? Can they do the same thing? Can a rapist tell his victim that she can not have an abortion? That is HIS reproductive right. Yes, he may get nailed for the rape, but he has still reproduced himself. According to Proposal 3, he has the constitutional right to do so.

No. See "Personal Autonomy" in full text of Prop 3.

also see: The Detroit Free Press runs article that agrees that Parental Rights are TOAST under Prop 3:
