Former GOP Senator: “Republicans previously Held to the Rule of Law, Not Now.”
Former Senator Cohen is flabbergasted that Congressional Republicans are set to vote against final certification. Do the peoples’ votes not matter? The only non progressive voice I have seen condemning a block to certification is Matt. So, do Bidet, Beemer, and Mike Oxlong agree with this unconstitutional movement?

Remember that “2000 Mules” was concocted by a circus of elephants.
The right needs to stop worry about what’s between people’s legs. Instead, they should focus on what’s between their ears.
Audacity sucks.

Note that challenges that lead to debate (a senator and representative objecting to the same states EV’s) happened in 1969 and 2005. But nothing on the scale of the 140 or so house members that are said to be wanting to object.MotorCityRadioFreak wrote: ↑Fri Jan 01, 2021 3:09 amFormer Senator Cohen is flabbergasted that Congressional Republicans are set to vote against final certification. It's time to see who the traitors are within the Republican party. Maybe we can exile them along with Trump to some shitty deplorable state.
WASHINGTON — Senator Ben Sasse on Thursday condemned a drive by his Republican colleagues in Congress to challenge the results of the 2020 election, rebuking the effort as a “dangerous ploy” led by lawmakers who are “playing with fire.”
In a blistering open letter to his constituents, Mr. Sasse of Nebraska became the first Republican senator to publicly condemn a decision by Senator Josh Hawley to challenge President-elect Joseph R. Biden Jr.’s victory, saying it was intended to “disenfranchise millions of Americans.”
“Let’s be clear what is happening here: We have a bunch of ambitious politicians who think there’s a quick way to tap into the president’s populist base without doing any real, long-term damage,” Mr. Sasse wrote. “But they’re wrong — and this issue is bigger than anyone’s personal ambitions. Adults don’t point a loaded gun at the heart of legitimate self-government.”
“The more you can increase fear of drugs, crime, welfare mothers, immigrants and aliens, the more you control all of the people.”

So were the individuals who challenged both Bush wins and the Trump win also traitors?TC Talks wrote: ↑Fri Jan 01, 2021 10:13 amIt's time to see who the traitors are within the Republican party. Maybe we can exile them along with Trump to some shitty deplorable state.

What's more pathetic: harassing an old man who is paying to do a radio show or supporting a grifter like Trump?
Re: Former GOP Senator: “Republicans previously Held to the Rule of Law, Not Now.”
The Trump win was not challenged in congress like this and neither was the first Bush win. The only person to attempt a challenge in 2016 was Rep. Primilla Jayapal of Washington State... her challenge was made null and void in literally 10 seconds by... Joe Biden who as politely as possibly told her through much gavel banging to sit down and shut up.Matt wrote: ↑Fri Jan 01, 2021 12:21 pmSo were the individuals who challenged both Bush wins and the Trump win also traitors?TC Talks wrote: ↑Fri Jan 01, 2021 10:13 amIt's time to see who the traitors are within the Republican party. In modern times only Nixon’s first win and Bush’s second win were challenged like this. But again not on this scale. The challenges will fail. At the very least we could drag this out till the 21st or 25th if you all would like? But Nancy Pelosi would be acting president and free to sign 10,000 executive orders if she wanted in the meantime. Food for thought on how stupid of an exercise this could become.

It’s a fact Bidet. Too bad.

If no president has been chosen by January 20th the Speaker of the House becomes acting president until such time as the dispute is resolved. Thats the way the system works.

Although I expect a smooth transition I'd rather like to see her in power for a while just to drive the Hannity types crazy.

I don't care for Pelosi, but I would love to see people lose their minds as well. Talk about triggered. Can you imagine the conspiracy theories?

All it is grandstanding and doing it for the show and I wouldn't sign on to do it if I was in congress or US Senate either.

New York and Chicago were all in with respect to their sanctuary status — until they were hit with the challenge of actually providing sanctuary. In other words, typical liberal hypocrisy.

I'm not going so far as to shit on your part of the world, but feel free.
Nice of you to pick this clip from the Movie with one of the most racist 30 seconds of film during the 70's.

Evidently, you've not seen 1975's Mandingo.
Hell, Blazing Saddles couldn't be made today.

Wow. I have never seen such horrible racism in a (somewhat) modern movie.
