There was an article recently that said that something like 55 of the outbreaks in the state (out of several hundred) were traced to restaurants and bars. In which counties? Where? 50 in Detroit, 5 in Lansing? One in each of 55 counties? All in the southern parts of the state, and none up north? Were they in bars or bar areas where people mingle freely? How many of these are from sit-down areas in restaurants?

Why penalize those up north for something that is happening down south. In Lansing, apparently somebody thinks that because it it happening bad in the Detroit area, it will happen bad in the U.P.

If a certain restaurant is not taking precautions, shut them down for 2 weeks. Those that are taking precautions and have no outbreaks, allow them to stay open.
Because when the bars were closing here in early summer, Republican mouth breathers Chet and Bill went to their cabins up north to have their liquor up there at the bars.

They/them, non-binary and proud.

Remember that “2000 Mules” was concocted by a circus of elephants.
The right needs to stop worry about what’s between people’s legs. Instead, they should focus on what’s between their ears.
Audacity sucks.

Bitchmer hasn't shown the data why bars should be closed which they shouldn't since the data shows that eating at bars is low risk along with bowling alleys, movie theaters all of them should sue clueless Bitchmer who knows nothing and doesn't get it.

Cases have been cut in half since these places were paused. Perhaps try another Avenue of discontent?

Amazing that a mouth breather is able to acquire not only a home here, but a cabin up north. Do you have a cabin up north?

New York and Chicago were all in with respect to their sanctuary status — until they were hit with the challenge of actually providing sanctuary. In other words, typical liberal hypocrisy.

I think 25% is reasonable to open the restaurants back up for indoor dining just my opinion.

So what does the 10PM curfew mean? No service after 10PM? or 'everyone out of the place' by 10PM?

If it means 'everyone out', then no one can be served after about 930 or so; it takes that long to eat the stuff.

Did you just return to Earth from a different planet? Curfews and some of the other policies have been in place for quite a while

Just out of curiosity, what were some of the curfews in place prior to the current State shutdown of indoor dinning?

Maybe embarrassing, but I'm in the business and I honestly don't know.

You can search executive orders from the State of Michigan about bar curfews at 10:00 p.m.

It's understandable that as people continue to drink they become more lacks with social distancing and mask usage. In our county, bar were the culprit of the most infection hot spots. Then there's the super spreader incident in East Lansing....

185 cases linked to one bar over one weekend
