Governor Whitmer: “This is the worst week of COVID we’ve ever had.”

If this is true, is another lock down imminent? Will bottle returns be suspended once again? Will mask mandates be enforced?

They have locked down London, England. Even Ontario has tons of cases, they are locking down as well. With nearly 7000 cases.each day, it is long since time to lockdown.

Wrong. Lockdowns don't work.

Quit pulling bullshit out of your ass. Lockdowns definitely are effective at limiting spread.

Each and every state and country that utilize lockdowns as a preventative measure are the same locations that have the lowest amount of covid even with this second wave.

Feel free to Google it otherwise why don't you go run in some traffic.

We are in a pandemic crisis situation. We have been near 7K cases each day this week. Hospitals are damn near full, and they are going to be building those sites again with the beds.

The people of 1918-19 died due to the fact that they wanted to just "live their lives".

This virus operates in a chain. Very similar to how HIV/AIDS operates. When you sleep with or stand next to a person, you are exposed to everyone they have been around and everyone that person has been around. Break the chain and stay home unless you are essential or involved with essential activities.

When somebody you know is in the hospital or dies and you couldn’t be there AT ALL, don’t ask for sympathy. You clearly couldn’t give a fuck. Until then you will be perfectly unable to have the gravity of it penetrate your mile thick skull.

If she wants to mandate something, how about a diet free of sugar and processed foods, low in carbohydrates and high in pre and probiotics as well as 30 minutes of heart rate raising exercise each day?

That would do MUCH more good than any lockdown.

New York and Chicago were all in with respect to their sanctuary status — until they were hit with the challenge of actually providing sanctuary. In other words, typical liberal hypocrisy.

I think getting some natural vitamin D is big factor, this is one reason why it hits minority groups so hard.

I'm just wondering what the condition of the "field hospitals" are around the state? Is the one at TCF still set up? What about the one in NOVI? Nearly EVERYBODY predicted a rise in the fall, so we should be really well prepared ALL OVER the state with some excess hospital capacity and all kinds of PPE.

Are we?? If not, why not?

I still contend one of the biggest mistakes** we made last spring was NOT using these facilities AS SOON AS THEY WERE READY. ANYBODY with symptoms should have been directed to these sites rather than going to a regular medical facility and potentially exposing all kinds of folks there. Only the worst cases should be in the intensive care at the major medical facilities.

** just slightly behind the big mistake of shipping sick COVID folks to the old folks' homes!!
