They can do that. Health departments rightly have broad leeway. Mask mandates are in both red and blue states. If the Democrats manage to get both chambers (they are not far away in either) in a few weeks you’ll see all of this change in a hurry.

A mask is a simple step to help stop you from potentially spreading it to someone else. That’s they main point. Protecting your fellow man. That’s not a political thing. It’s a decent thing that normal people do.

I have NO plans to stop wearing a mask anytime soon. I will wear it at work (required anyways) and I will wear it on my own time when I'm out and about. Not a big deal.

That isn’t what I said. I’m saying that under extraordinary circumstances actions should be curtailed. There is nothing in the constitution about it being an abridgment of any freedoms for someone to say “you must wear a mask to enter an establishment”.
