Armed protesters enter capital building, occupy gallery
Armed protesters enter capital building, occupy gallery
If this had happened in almost any other country in the world, they would have been shot.

I don't want to see anyone shot. But the irony of people complaining about their loss of freedom while being able to carry automatic weapons mere feet from legislators in session is thick enough to spread on toast.UP906 wrote: ↑Thu Apr 30, 2020 2:11 pmWould you like to have seen them shot?Vic Doucette wrote: ↑Thu Apr 30, 2020 1:38 pmIf this had happened in almost any other country in the world, they would have been shot.

I think this is before the lockers and metal detectors.
Ask not what your country can do FOR you; ask what they are about to do TO YOU!!

There are photos of armed protesters in the visitors gallery!

I guess that would depend on the side they were on. Unfortunately, due to the constant state of war in Israel, it is not uncommon at all to see folks walking the street legally brandishing actual fully automatic weapons out of necessity.Vic Doucette wrote: ↑Thu Apr 30, 2020 2:34 pmWhat would happen in, say, Israel, if armed protesters attempted to enter a government building while the legislature was in session?
In America, the 2nd Amendment has been eroded so far as to only allow semi automatic weapons unless otherwise permitted by the ATF.
I didn't actually see ANY semi automatic long guns in that news clip. Could you point them out to me?

Right... so can you point in that picture to the semi automatic long guns? I see one buttstock, but it appears to be from a hunting rifle or perhaps a Biden approved shotgun.Vic Doucette wrote: ↑Thu Apr 30, 2020 2:50 pmhttps://twitter.com/SenPolehanki/status ... 5294001%2FUP906 wrote: ↑Thu Apr 30, 2020 2:46 pmI guess that would depend on the side they were on. Vic does have a point though... if these folks were literally anywhere else their actions would have them labeled as terrorists. I hope they at least are able to value the fact that we don’t do that here.UP906 wrote: ↑Thu Apr 30, 2020 2:57 pmRight... so can you point in that picture to the semi automatic long guns? The 2nd Amendment is a beautiful thing.

Yes it is. Even as a liberal go have guns and be my guest while you’re at it. Only 2 requests:
1) Don’t point it at me, if it’s gonna find a way to go off it’ll be then.
2) Don’t involve me as I have zero interest in it.
Have at it.
