Wolverine queen??? We are NOT claiming her. These people should have at least waited to hear her out tomorrow.

What's there to hear?

There will be some form of a stay-at-home order in effect for a long time.

She has clearly stated that she has no intention of returning Michigan to anything even resembling the path to normalcy anytime soon.

It’ll be lifted in waves is what she said. old people and those with conditions will be lifted last. It sounds like the 15th is when the current situation will be lifted but there will be modifications to what’s essential to the side of relaxing restrictions. Sounds like a gradual walk on the path to normalcy to me.

The ridiculous you can't go between residences, you can't buy gardening supplies, you can't contract lawn service, and you can't go in a boat with a motor should be lifted tomorrow. Beginning 5/1, if you have an office, you can go to work, but you must maintain social distance. Perhaps dine in restaurants at reduced capacity can be considered.

You can buy gardening supplies... just not at a big box store or a greenhouse. Fools with nothing to do were standing around admiring the flowers and becoming crowds.

Paint is another one... lots of people dreaming of watching the paint dry and trying to figure out which color dries best at once.

Lawn service... 6 guys in a truck at once.

Boat with motor... worried about people with nothing to do crowding into a boat to have parties...

These things were actually thought out and carefully considered if you spend 2 seconds thinking instead of bitching.

Yep. Most of those make sense. There's plenty of awareness out there on what folks need to do. Could do some more reinforcing with the right messages instead of confusing folks more (like saying "masks don't protect you, they protect the other guy".. smdh!). Should loosen up the stranglehold she has on the state and let those folks and businesses that can properly distance go about their business and get some things rolling again. Restaurants should be encouraged to setup outdoor seating where possible with as much distance as possible between tables.

I was more offended by the Wolverine descriptor! She's a spartan.

Maybe it's time for you outliers to just let it go. She's winning the hearts and minds of the state.

"People are stupid."

John Matthis - 1984

"And ugly too."

Bryce - about three seconds after John Matthis said what he said in 1984.

Drinking Jim Beam straight up can provide a unique prospective.
New York and Chicago were all in with respect to their sanctuary status — until they were hit with the challenge of actually providing sanctuary. In other words, typical liberal hypocrisy.

Snyder declined and stayed in Ann Arbor. Meanwhile, Whitmer decided the East Lansing to Lansing was too much trouble.

Or she just did what most governors in most states did. Snyder tried to make a point when the state was more cash strapped by doing that.
