Notice to all Buzzboard readers & posters: A requested server migration took place Saturday evening. Unfortunately, I did not re-point my DNS records to the new server until roughly 7:45p ET on Monday, November 12. As a result, any posts and new user registrations occurring between the nighttime hours of 11/10 and approximately 7:45p ET on Monday, 11/12 have been lost.

This was unavoidable, and the longer I waited to re-point to the new server, the greater the number of posts that would've been lost.

Please feel free to resubmit any threads / posts you created. They will NOT be lost this time! Many thanks for your patience these past couple of weeks while I've worked to migrate the Buzzboard to a more secure, more robust platform.

The economic forces at work in that decade of recession we had are much bigger than her... but who cares about details?

I voted for her in 2002 when I still lived in Michigan, Terrible Mistake. Although I wasn't sad to see Engler go. Here in Ohio, I came at the end of Bob Taft's 2nd term. Now, he was Granholm x100. Strickland was meh. Kasich has done well.

I like John Kasich voted for him in the primaries last March wish he was president hope one day he becomes president. John Engler's last term didn't care and was just running the clock out I thought.

Every time she appeared on television the furnace would kick on.

Don't bother Y M...

I'll give you the important headlines right here...

OCTOBER JOBS: +250K...

ECONOMY ADDING 1,000 MANUFACTURING JOBS PER DAY...

HISPANIC UNEMPLOYMENT ALL TIME LOW...

WAGE GAINS STRONGEST IN DECADE...

POLL: TRUMP APPROVAL 51%...

There sure isn't as much excitement, fawning, or adulation over our first orange president as there was over our first black one. Evidently, orange really isn't the new black.

Seems many forget the economical realities of the 80's. The US economy was in the toilet and the auto industry was flushed. No other governor faced the same crisis. Folks, understand circumstances. Could you have done better?

Umm, Lou, Granholm wasn't governor in the 80's. She served from 2003 to 2011. Otherwise known as "The Lost Decade".
