Oh Shit! May 15th!? Gov. Whitmer to extend “Stay Home – Stay Safe” into May
Re: Oh Shit! May 15th!? Gov. Whitmer to extend “Stay Home – Stay Safe” into May
It was interesting to hear that masks are now required when you go to the store. Also interesting that stores have a legal right to refuse service if NOT wearing a mask. Being in retail myself this is comforting. However I highly doubt my store will say no mask, no service.

Here ya go:audiophile wrote: ↑Fri Apr 24, 2020 11:19 amSeems like the governor is getting the message after republican legislators refused to extend and citizens started protesting.
What she is doing is what I would have done on March 13!
I WAS THE ONLY ON HERE PUSHING MASKS FOR ALL INDOORS! RT even doubted me![]()

Her interpretation is not legally binding. She should not have offered that opinion. Also, I can't imagine stores are going to want to alienate customers by forcing them to wear masks. She's asking stores to be cops, and I can't imagine too many stores wanting to take on that role.TheForce wrote: ↑Fri Apr 24, 2020 11:56 amIt was interesting to hear that masks are now required when you go to the store. Voting for Trump is dumber than playing Russian Roulette with fully loaded chambers.

She made it clear that the face masks are a really good idea, but not enforceable. I stopped getting take out from places that don't use masks.
Howard: I do have bias against the metro area. Particularly Macomb county. I am constantly telling people around the country Michigan isn't Detroit
I have a phobia of the anti-intellectualism. There seems to be plenty of it in Macomb County, Northern Oakland, Western Wayne County, and wherever Matt lives these days.
Being stupid is a choice so there's no bigotry involved.

Make up your mind!
Masks are now not enforceable, BUT she can every shut entire businesses and your local Barney-fife will enforce it because it's the "law"?
You are very inconsistent, at best.

She has regulatory control over businesses. I guess you're just going to need to re-read everything because you seem confused. Anyone working at a business must wear a mask.audiophile wrote: ↑Fri Apr 24, 2020 2:00 pmMake up your mind!

Everyday citizens are asked to wear a mask but it is not an enforceable part of her executive order. It is a strongly recommended action you should take.

If it makes you feel better continue to believe that. But proudly touting that you voted for Trump and Schuette is all the evidence that I need to refute your claims.Matt wrote: ↑Fri Apr 24, 2020 1:56 pmI run circles around you intellectually. TC Talks projected a 4% mortality rate, 70-80% US infection rate, and nearly 10 million Americans dead.
Kinda hard to take anything from him seriously after these ridiculous predictions.

So when it comes back in the fall are you going to add to the totals or start a new tally? Because you can’t call something that clearly isn’t over... well... over and say it’s not going to be a big deal going forward. Especially if you do not support any further drastic action to reduce the spread of it.

Effective on April 26, 2020 at 11:59 pm:
Any individual able to medically tolerate a face covering must wear a covering over his or her nose and mouth—such as a homemade mask, scarf, bandana, or handkerchief—when in any enclosed public space.
So is your sheriff going to be ticketing - they're breaking the LAW, as you say!
