We’re making fun of them... nobody here is trying to burn them alive...
Maybe here that is the case, but trust me....on my facebook feed, "trying to burn them alive" isn't that far off.

I support the right to peacefully protest.

I also support my right to make fun of the protesters. Many of them look like imbeciles. I have a sneaking suspicion many of these folks live off SSI or work at the local tobacco shop.
I could not have said it better myself.
I believe you.

I wonder how many of the Lansing protesters are in the medical field?

I saw a comment on Facebook saying “It wasn’t a peaceful protest! People were yelling and honking their horns!”

Wow, just wow.

Settle down, Karen.
LOL, sounds more like a union prep rally than a protest.

Some of the out-of-work ones were probably there. Remember all non-life threatening surgeries were cancelled.

How many of already had it and didn't even know? It's possible I'm one of them. There was a death 3 persons removed from me from Covid-19. Not sure timing was right, but who knows.

A hospital executive decided to take part in a voluntary test for antibodies, and she was floored to find she had them. She was never sick nor was near anyone that tested positive.

How many folks do you think she infected while she had it? Especially in a medical facility?

That’s why everybody is saying the testing especially the antibody testing is key... we could try to test most people and get a good idea of where we are... that’s probably what gets us out of this.

So, we all agree that science and data are the keys to safely head toward normalcy. How do we explain this to the idiots who swarmed Lansing?

Maybe the risk of the gathering could have been avoided, if the governor simply listened.

She listened to the car dealers allowing them to sell online again, but what of the others?

She gave them nothing.

So, do you think that consumers bare any responsibility for the actions she has taken?

Boat launches, Sleeping Bear, Home Improvement and other places where citizens were not being responsible.

In Traverse City, we have a skate park. At 2am there were 40+ kids hanging out skating. The next day it had to be closed. I see everything that has been closed in Michigan just like that skate park. The governor merely responds to people's irresponsibily.

So you are suffering because of your neighbor, not your government's response. In the case of car dealerships, they are forcing their customers into safe behavior and so they are allowed to operate.

And it may be people in Oakland County who caused the problems, not in whatever backwoods town you live in. But you can't create policy just for a few counties.

Never seen protesters in cars before ever insane that a few called Whitmer a nazi which I'm tired of both sides using it. Disagree with Whitmer all you want but it's insane to call her that or anyone for that matter I'm not one of those that would ever protest.
