Michigan civil disobedience - it's happening under the radar

The stay at home thing is running its course- and Michiganders are leading the way.
No state saw a larger drop in the share of people staying home last week than Michigan, even though its stay-at-home order remained in place. While half of the state’s residents stayed home on average during the preceding six weeks, that number declined by nearly 11 percentage points last week, as approximately one million people there started moving around again.

The numbers look good, let's see if this new movement jeopardizes a reopen schedule.

At a certain point there won’t be anything left to reopen for...

Residents? Sure.

Lots of down/out-of-staters (via license plates) were seen OTR north of the 45th last weekend. FIBs lead the pack, it would seem...

Out of state plates are blooming like dandelions.

Went out and chased a little white dimpled ball all over the place today. While driving to and from (20 miles round trip) saw two from Illinois, two from Florida, one from California, one from Ohio and one from Tennessee.

They may have been Democrats. We're they wearing white hoods like the Democrats used to back in the day?

I take that back. Of course they were. No self respecting Republican would drive a Honda Element.
New York and Chicago were all in with respect to their sanctuary status — until they were hit with the challenge of actually providing sanctuary. In other words, typical liberal hypocrisy.

Yes, but the white hooded Democrats are part of what is today's Republican party in the South.

Liberal environmentalists do get emotional. It probably was, Republicans don't really understand National Parks.

Exactly... Bryce denies the existence of the 1960’s realignment.

Baloney, the Civil Rights Act of 1964 was passed in spite of the Democrats, not because of them.

The realignment started in response to that bill among other things. 1968 was the first election that the trend became noticeable... We are in the midst of another one now... so your definitions are about to be 2 parties ago... realignment is essentially what happens here instead of parties collapsing and new ones forming.
