What does Trump have to do with a Michigan entrepreneur trying to expand tests in Michigan?TC Talks wrote: ↑Wed Apr 22, 2020 9:37 pmSince everything Trump does is a fucking disaster, there aren't enough test available, UNLIKE EVER OTHER FIRST WORLD INDUSTRIALIZED NATION.Matt wrote: ↑Wed Apr 22, 2020 9:24 pmhttps://www.detroitnews.com/story/opini ... 004021001/

At least make a little effort to be fair TCT. Whitmer was all over the TV on Sunday claiming a severe shortage of swabs.
You used to be a lot more thorough in your reasoning with balanced information behind your takes. Anymore, your nothing more than just regurgitating the party line, actual facts be damned.

Whitmer: Never let a crisis go to waste.
It could be cold weather (-15) - declare a state of emergency!
E-cigarettes'? Executive order!
Be sure cuss in every TV Ad and tell drivers the wheels are gonna fall off and that they'll save money with 45 cent gas tax even thought I lied during debates saying 20 cents was "ridiculous".

Ask not what your country can do FOR you; ask what they are about to do TO YOU!!
Re: Whitmer wants more tests but won't cut through red tape
So University of Michigan, Henry Ford Health Systems, the City of New York and hospitals in Chicago, Boston and elsewhere can use (and are using) them but the State of Michigan can't?? What's wrong with that picture.
You wouldn't even have any shipping delays!!

Here is a running list of things Trump told Governors and US citizens that he has not delivered on...

Re: Whitmer wants more tests but won't cut through red tape
What does Trump have to do with Whitmer's unwillingness to support a local small businessman AND simultaneously help the state by ramping up testing quantity? I wonder if you're suggesting that if the businessman had made a nasty comment about Trump, he could have received a state contract. That seems like a stretch...TC Talks wrote: ↑Thu Apr 23, 2020 10:57 amHere is a running list of things Trump told Governors and US citizens that he has not delivered on...

Oh, I also heard that Trump failed to send 40,000 ventilators to NYS that were requested.TC Talks wrote: ↑Thu Apr 23, 2020 10:57 amHere is a running list of things Trump told Governors and US citizens that he has not delivered on...

That should probably be on his list of "failures", even though they never came anywhere close to ever needing that many.
Re: Whitmer wants more tests but won't cut through red tape
How exactly were they supposed to know that in advance? Also what would the reaction have been had they needed that and more and didn’t ask?km1125 wrote: ↑Thu Apr 23, 2020 12:48 pmOh, I also heard that Trump failed to send 40,000 ventilators to NYS that were requested.TC Talks wrote: ↑Thu Apr 23, 2020 10:57 amHere is a running list of things Trump told Governors and US citizens that he has not delivered on...

Re: Whitmer wants more tests but won't cut through red tape
There were reasonable estimates that the whole country might need 160,000-180,000 more units... for someone in NYS to think they alone needed 40,000 was a bit crazy by all estimations.Rate This wrote: ↑Thu Apr 23, 2020 1:34 pmHow exactly were they supposed to know that in advance? They have to operate worst case scenario. You know that.km1125 wrote: ↑Thu Apr 23, 2020 1:41 pmThere were reasonable estimates that the whole country might need 160,000-180,000 more units... for someone in NYS to think they alone needed 40,000 was a bit crazy by all estimations.Rate This wrote: ↑Thu Apr 23, 2020 1:34 pmHow exactly were they supposed to know that in advance?
