In the article, he says those that criticize him do it because he is gay. Not true.

The four people alive today that have a problem with what consenting adults do are also seeking attention. The way to normalize race is to stop focusing on those that make it an issue. The way to stop the four people that hate consenting adults is to stop drawing attention to them.

This is nothing more than promoting a victim-mentality when a victim doesn’t exist and it’s all for attention.

He’s calling out the people who criticize him specifically for being gay, and even gives specific examples. I’m not a big Custer fan at all, but as a gay man myself I will say your post makes you sound incredibly privileged.

Straight people get bullied for all kinds of reasons and for no reason at all. But when it comes to bullying, why does LGBTQIA+ have a monopoly?

OMG - that article is sad. Custer wants to make it all about his sexuality as the reason people don’t like him. The reason I don’t like him and won’t watch TV5 for news is because he comes across as a smug, narcissistic, self centered jackass on air. It’s so apparent that it’s all about him and this article makes that so apparent. Besides, one of his chief rivals at another station is also gay but is nothing like Custer. I so hope TV5 doesn’t renew Custer’s contract.

I work with at least two gay people at work and frankly don’t care their sexuality.

This has NOTHING to do with his sexuality. Frankly, he’s using it to gain attention, avoid legitimate criticism, and set himself apart from others.

Name one thing Custer has done that Terry Camp has not done, yet Terry seeks no attention.

Imagine the lawsuits and hoopla if they were to let him go. Gay5 would have a real PR mess on there hands. I think that Custer is counting on that, so he can keep being smug and arrogant without fear of repercussions.

He states that he had a hard time in school, and that is true as someone took his glasses and threw them in the toilet because he was being obnoxious.

That happened to every one of my straight friends who wore glasses.

But they don't get an article because...I don't know why.
