The issue is that unvaccinated people are disproportionately taking up hospital space and resources preventing others from getting potentially life-saving diagnostic screenings and care. Smokers and obese people don't come close to being a strain on the system as much as this pandemic of the unvaccinated does.

If what you're suggesting is you are for socialized medicine, why limited the covid-19? We should go all in on a single-payer system.

Those infected were not fully vaccinated, they weren't boosted. Boosted Americans are safe.

However, NYC cases of Omicron doubled in 4 days. This is nasty contagious.
