1. Nobody should be punished for the sins of those who came before them. It would be like imprisoning someone because their great, great grandparent committed a crime. Those who did not commit a crime should not be punished for someone else who did.
2. Having distant dead relatives who were discriminated against is not a good reason to benefit financially from those living now who did nothing wrong.
