This is what senseless, ignorant partisanship and unbridled, blind outrage will do to you.
Within a few months, fringe groups wanted to stop funding police departments, making villains of those who wear a badge, stripping them of any authority.
Now, those same people want police to have the authority to disarm you if they feel like it.
