The Life in The Simpsons Is No Longer Attainable

The most famous dysfunctional family of 1990s television enjoyed, by today’s standards, an almost dreamily secure existence.

Hate to burst your bubble, but The Simpsons is a cartoon. The characters don’t exist and therefore do not belong to any socio-economic class.

Also, Bert and Ernie on Sesame Street are fictitious too. They are not XX or XY because they do not have human chromosomes. And therefore, they are neither gay nor straight.

Same goes for the DNC featured speaker who identifies as a “mermaid queen-king.”

You're out of touch. This thread is in connection to a discussion that took place here while you were still banned.

BTW. Just go.
1. I’m not out of touch. I speak only in reality. Not cartoons or mythological creatures.

2. I’ve never been banned.

3. Never.

Homer is middle class. He has a job that he sleeps at, so he is likely in a union.
But, I thought income was the criteria.

If he's in a Union he's working class.
100% wrong.

Hollywood actors are union. SAG-AFTRA. They’re not “middle class.”

Oh. And cartoon characters aren’t unionized. Neither are mermaids, Santa Claus, Tooth Fairy, etc.
