I stopped by Art Van in Warren today about 2 hours ago. What an absolute clusterfuck. The pickup line was backed up down 14 Mile to almost Mound road.

According to an employee inside, the discount is 15% today. Tomorrow closed. Monday starts 40% off.

Tentatively scheduled to be open till May 24, but he doubts it. Says the delivery guys pretty much stopped showing up to work. They don’t even know if they’re all going to get paid. Said this is a 1 day per week side gig for him so it’s nbd, but other employees are fucked.

Totally sucks

Well, this would explain why when I had Art Van come out to fix my broken recliner in JANUARY, they had to “order parts” and have been jerking me around ever since. I’d like to bring the chair to the store and throw it through their fucking window.

Correct me if I’m wrong...if you make a purchase or deposit with a Credit Card, can’t you get your money back with filing a dispute? It may be leg work, but Isn’t that typically the case?

Myself, I’ve never in my life made a deposit or a bigger purchase on ANYTHING that I cannot walk out with ON THE SPOT with cash or check. Always a CC.

I’m sorry, you pay 3K for something with cash that “will be delivered” at a later date...you’re truly a dumbass.
