So when did we reach a point where our media folks get near-orgasms about windstorms? Tracy McCaskill on WWJ sounded absolute giddy today when she told us about “power outages possible!” And Rexroth and his buddies at 7 just LOVE their newer graphic which tells us where the power outages could be.

McCaskill is awful. Her voice gets way too high and squeaky when reading a story, for absolutely no reason. It’s almost cartoon or teenage male puberty like. Tony Ortiz has a better voice, but as I have said, I can’t take the number one Millen ass kisser seriously, never will.

Around the same time this afternoon, McCaskill was giving a report about the man who was assaulted with baseball bats. Her chirpy, giddy kindergarten-teacher voice made it sound like a happy-talk nursery story.
I used to not like her traffic reports for the same reason.
