Me too. Someone told me he is planning on starting his own podcast now. I hope he succeeds.

I hope 97.1 hires Sean. He can backfill Jim Costa's prior time slots.

It seems to me that Sean was on with Paul W in the morning before Paul's move to mid-day. I never really understood what his role was supposed to be. Whenever he would chime in on the conversation, it was brief.

On their entire roster, The Ticket has only 2 black hosts and one of them is overnights, I don't think replace Rico with a White guy is going to play well, especially when the afternoon show gets great ratings. Sean could end up on the air in Grand Rapids or Lansing again.

Valid points. I do think Baligian backfilling Costa's time slots on 97.1 (after Costa moves to weekday mornings) is a possibility.
Morgan Wallen is a piece of garbage.

Rico has nothing to do with the great ratings of the afternoon show.riggs wrote: ↑Wed Dec 13, 2023 8:22 pmMWmetalhead wrote: ↑Tue Dec 12, 2023 2:34 pmA Valenti - Baligian pairing would pique my interest.Matt wrote: ↑Tue Dec 12, 2023 9:12 amHe could also replace Spartard afternoons and no tears will be shed.MWmetalhead wrote: ↑Tue Dec 12, 2023 9:04 amHosting a one hour daily show in a crappy time slot that is out of format to boot is not exactly a recipe for job security.

The Ticket really should find a place for Sean.

Agreed. Sean is actually a very good local sports talk show host, unlike the tiny one...Majik wrote: ↑Thu Dec 14, 2023 8:08 amRico has nothing to do with the great ratings of the afternoon show.riggs wrote: ↑Wed Dec 13, 2023 8:22 pmMWmetalhead wrote: ↑Tue Dec 12, 2023 2:34 pmA Valenti - Baligian pairing would pique my interest.Matt wrote: ↑Tue Dec 12, 2023 9:12 amHe could also replace Spartard afternoons and no tears will be shed.MWmetalhead wrote: ↑Tue Dec 12, 2023 9:04 amHosting a one hour daily show in a crappy time slot that is out of format to boot is not exactly a recipe for job security.
