The group that owns WGPR evidently bought the Hot 107.5 intellectual property from Urban One when that LMA expired.

Some tweaks to the programming have occurred over the past 12 to 18 months (less hardcore hip-hop), but the ratings stink.


Morgan Wallen is a piece of garbage.

I vote for Chris Edmonds again.

Yes I’ll just jump on that bandwagon too :-) lol

My morning drive usually consists of WWJ for the cross-town 696 traffic run and then CSX for Big Jim’s house for the remainder of my drive time, which maybe 20 min max.

It’s a decent mix and it works. They involve the audience and that’s not a bad thing nowadays.

JJ retiring …. Is the evolution of his career and much like KC, he’s a part of our Detroit Media Family.
