The last few days the signal strength drops way down for a few min and then back up for a few min over and over as if a switch is being tripped over and over. I've hever heard that before on any station. What can be causing it?
Plate Cap can probably answer that.

Glenn Beck saying 10 second station ID isn’t just a WFDF thing. I’ve heard it on WAAM and WSPD, making me believe it’s meant to be heard on air.

I was in Windsor earlier today. Signal is a bit spotty especially at night. It’s worse the more east you go.

Drove to Lansing early this morning. Listened to 9:10 a.m. for the entire trip. The signal was very good until I hit 496 and then it became spotty.

The morning show covered current event topics both local and state as well as national. I won't say it was riveting, but for the most part held my interest.

You know what, the bumper music for that show was better than what WCSX has in their daily rotation playlist.
New York and Chicago were all in with respect to their sanctuary status — until they were hit with the challenge of actually providing sanctuary. In other words, typical liberal hypocrisy.

WFDF is buried in noise today. I can hear CFCO and WKNR a lot clearer.

Interesting. I'm about 5 miles from that location and this morning it was clear as a bell all the way to Lansing.

Wonder if you have electrical interference from overhead power lines or other issues in that area that could be causing it?

Or maybe The Ghost of Jimmy Hoffa wandered a mile down the road and he's doing it.

Good one. :smokin

It's a lot stronger once I leave the subdivision and peel out onto Telegraph. It's definitely something that comes and goes. Haven't had a chance to get the old Philco tube radio working. The old fire bottles ignore the noise floor altogether. The old Panasonic and Monkey Ward's receivers quiet it down a lot, but it's still there.

I'll be back in Orlando soon, and the problem there on AM will be interference from Cuba.

Justin Barclay actually had a caller last week! It wasn't Mr. Positive either.

Hi, the problem was a failed UPS in the audio rack and the station is back on the air now. Unfortunately, Mrs. Adell won’t allow Kevin to have a cot to sleep on at the transmitter site in Carleton or it would have been back on earlier.

Adell needs to actually have an FM signal. HD radio is a lost cause. No one is listening to HD Radio.

Booming in tonight near Pellston.

I don't know how they would get a full power FM signal. If there were an obvious way, WJR and WWJ would have one.
