This should make the "Jim Price Stinks" crowd happy.

I know he wasn't always popular here, but I know he's been a part of the team forever. I'm sorry to hear of his passing R.I.P.

When was his last game as an analyst? He seemed like he did it until he couldn't anymore.

No, it doesn't, at least me.

I sure feel he worked in the last month/six weeks, but it has been sporadic this season.

His on-air catch phrases were hard to handle but when I met him, he was very nice to me and certainly stood fast for the Tigers. Rest in Peace.

Seems to me that I heard him on a home broadcast perhaps a month or six weeks ago (maybe just before the All-Star Break), and he didn't sound very energetic or healthy. In fact, I was thinking about him when I caught the last couple innings of last night's game on the car radio and heard Andy Dirks on with Dickerson again, realizing that Dirks has been doing most (all?) of the home games recently with Dickerson. You had to figure if Price was up to it, he would have been there. Hoping Price didn't suffer at the end. RIP.

I remember him from the 68 Tigers.he was not that great a player but he turned into a nice career in the media. I think he was the one who started the Fantasy camp years ago.

When I last heard him I actually thought he sounded in rough shape. Almost like the end was near.
RIP

I don't think anyone wanted him DEAD, just out of the booth. That's all.

I'm sure Jim was a great guy, just someone whose time passed him by.

I did hear Price with Dan Dickerson a few weeks ago(?), which might have been his last 'cast....he was winded, hard time finishing a sentence and you could hear him laboring on his breathing after talking....
I never had any issues with him being color with Dickerson, but the past two/three years we all heard his steady decline, I hope his suffering has ended and condolences to his friends, broadcast comrades and his family....
