1.9 for WJR, a record low?

97.1 streaming is 1.7. Add that to their 7.0 makes them 8.7. Beating out WKQI’s 8.1.

Barely a shadow of what once was. Heads should roll.

Incredible showing for 95.5 given CHR's softness in some other markets.

What do you think the draw is? I haven't heard much good about anything in the format.

The more they try to compete by copying CSX, the more they'll fail.
Why would someone bother to change their station just to hear the exact same songs as the one they already have on and like

Thats the entire problem. The came on the scene promising to be "A new generation of Classic Rock". That didnt last long as it became evident immediately that they had decided to play the same worn out shit we've all heard a million times with a newer song thrown in once and awhile... but even that newer classic was a burnt safe tune like "Dead or Alive" or some other focus tested safe song.
They are still on my presets but they only get a listen when there are commercials elsewhere and most of the time I pass right by. I have noticed a few decent spins from better less worn out classics here and there so I guess I will give them a touch of credit for that.
The formula for success is simple: play kick ass rock and roll tunes from the 80's and 90 with a few early 2000's thrown in the mix. Leave Bob fucking Seger, the Rolling Stones and Queen on the shelf please.

WLLZ exists mostly to take shares from WCSX. They aren't meant to aim for #1.

If thats the case wouldnt they take MORE shares from WCSX if they had a better play list that increased ratings?

Some in-demo ranks; I cannot remember the last time WRIF was so low in P18 to 34 (granted, that demo is rather unimportant for radio buys these days):

WKQI cleaned up yet again across the board. 10 share or higher in P18 to 34, P18 to 49 and P25 to 54!

Something that definitely caught my eye is Mix 92.3's unusually strong performance in P18 to 49, where it finished third. Even with Mix 92.3 and Channel 955 posting great books, 105.1 The Bounce, which likely cross cumes heavily with each of the two aforementioned stations, still managed a top 5 showing in both P18 to 49 and P25 to 54.
Morgan Wallen is a piece of garbage.

Looks like banning Mr. Positive has had negative effects on WJR's ratings.

Out of curiosity, why was he banned? I must have missed that.
