Woe to you, oh earth and sea
For the Devil sends the beast with wrath
Because he knows the time is short
Let him who hath understanding reckon the number of the beast
For it is a human number
Its number is six hundred and sixty-six

Somewhat unusual for someone with a news background (versus sales) to be named a major market station President & GM.
Morgan Wallen is a piece of garbage.

I think that has shifted as News is now the primary focus of local TV and the News department is by far the largest department in the building. Local sales to local retailers is no longer the main revenue source but political ads bought in bulk by the parties and PACs. Thus the local sales manager is less important to the station and more and more NDs are becoming GMs. Fox2's current GM was a ND and the past 2 NDs from 7 are now GMs in other markets. I've noticed this shift in the last 15 years.
