May 2020 and 2021 each had significant cold snaps. I do recall temps in the upper 80s in mid-May not that long ago as well.

I like when the weather is in the high 70s with sunshine and low humidity in June-August and the weather people moan about how "it feels like fall". Uh yeah, if only it typically felt like that in this part of the country in October and November.
