Lol Mitch Albom. “Left”. That was probably true in the past, but in the past few years, either WJR told him to move more conservative, or he really did turn into a grumpy old man with a microphone. All he does now is complain about younger generations. If Kenny even offers a counterpoint, Albom snaps at him too. Kevin O’Neil is nice to listen to, but he treads very lightly.

I’ve been listening to him since the 90’s, but I only listen now when I’m in the mood for angry-old-man-radio. Lol.

At least in print, self-righteous Mitch has always complained about people that don't live up to his lofty standards.

In 2006, he had the gall to complain about an EAS alert interrupting his show to broadcast a tornado warning. The only reason I had turned on WJR is because I was driving into the storm from Toledo and heard tornado sirens blaring. Turns out the station with the best weather updates was K100. WWJ was nothing but non-stop static due to all the lightning nearby.

Another replacement possibility may be whatever Fox News Talk has running at that time, since I think WJR still has an affiliation with Fox News Radio. Maybe Brian Kilmead?

Kilmeade is live at 9 I believe. It's not out of the realm of possibility.

I stumbled upon a show the other day: Markley, vanCamp, and Robbins (?) on WSGW... What a group of grown-ass tRumpanzees acting like teenagers with no substance. They play sounds clips of Biden, etc. and then laugh. They don't take callers, AFAICT. They'd make a GREAT fit into that 12-3 slot on WJR!

So is Bongino’s syndicator dumping him or just WJR dumping him off the local lineup?

Tucker Carlson is suddenly available. Maybe tucker can write his own substack , go to newsmax or OANN, or join Chris cup or on newsnation… all at a drastically reduced income and stature

Or he could sign on the trump campaign to polish trumps shoes.

Don Lemon is out at CNN. Doubt he would get into talk radio, and further doubt WJR would pick him up if he did.

Wasn’t there a rumor before the pandemic and I think Tony Paul even made a comment that WJR was thinking of doing more sports?? Maybe someone can tell me if I’m right or wrong? Most likely I see it being clay and Buck. Also lol at people on the left who think it’s just the right that spread propaganda.

K100 when the late Gary Shores ran it always did great weather updates and simulcasts from WNWO and in later years WTVG.

I met Mitch nearly 10 years ago at a book signing and he was very pleasant and nice to everyone. His novels are great and he does great charity work. I've listened to his WJR show a few times, and it has its cheesy moments, like the Trump impersonator he brings on.

Idk, but whoever used to call him "Myth Albom" is a hero in my book.

Albom is unlistenable. Unfunny and annoying, along with his sidekicks.

I havent listened to Albom in years. I had to stop because every time Kenny spoke I felt like there was spittle coming through my radio.
