The end of the live radio DJ era is upon us

Post by frankie knuckles » Fri Mar 24, 2023 11:51 am

Spotify now has an Artificial Intelligence DJ voice who plays genre specific mini sets from your liked songs. It also front sells, back sells, and occasionally offers up relevant facts about the artists’ upcoming albums, tour dates, etc.

It does this naturally and sounds like a real human.

Media corps will be “cost cutting” very soon and implementing this technology. The days of the human music jock will be over in just a few years

To an extent, it's been that way for some time what with consultants dictating play lists.

New York and Chicago were all in with respect to their sanctuary status — until they were hit with the challenge of actually providing sanctuary. In other words, typical liberal hypocrisy.

How long until they replace real human listeners with AI listeners?

This reminds me of what Rogers in Canada is doing.

When Jay Towers is considered “good,” you know the end is here.
