I agree with krupper.
I watched an abridged version of the report on WDIV's 5:30p newscast at some point last week.
While I was saddened to hear Van Earl had to battle some really troublesome personal demons, I am glad to hear he is now "clean."
It was courageous of him to share his personal story, and I commend him for doing so. I enjoyed his TV work back in the day.
